We are being renewed in Christ! | Anchored in Hope Devotional

“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day” (2 Corinthians 4:16)

A friend told me recently that I was decaying!

While I wanted to deny it, I couldn't because I am going to decay to the point of death one day.

However, it reminded me of the passage mentioned above. Our outer self is wasting away. This physical body that we live in will one day turn back into dust.

However, the passage continues by saying that our inner self is being renewed day by day.

Praise the Lord for this!

Our heavenly Father continues to mold us day in and day out. Even though we can be stubborn and resist God at times, we can come back to our loving, all-knowing, and never-failing Savior.

Let’s turn to Christ today so that we can be renewed!
