Pray without ceasing | Anchored in Hope Devotions

So many times, it seems that our prayers go unanswered, but that is simply not true. 

The Bible says that if we ask in faith, according to the will of God, we will receive what we’ve asked for so that God may be glorified and our joy be full. 

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!”

— ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭37‬:‭7‬‬

God does answer prayer. He hears our every word. We must be still and wait patiently… God will answer. Don’t ever think God is ignoring you. Sometimes it is at the “He’s not answering my prayers” moments that He is actually working miraculously to answer your prayer. 

“Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.”

— ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬-‭14‬‬

  “I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God; incline your ear to me; hear my words.”

— Psalm 17:6

Don’t stop praying, don’t stop looking… God has heard and He will answer.
