Jesus is Our Master Potter | Anchored in Hope Devotions

The world may pass by and say, “what a worthless glob of clay. How will you ever make it work?”

Jesus doesn’t say a thing but continues to mold and fashion His child. Then softly He whispers, “They are Mine.”

The world doesn’t understand, but our Father does. Our Master Potter knows each detail of us.

Even when we fall, Jesus picks us back up, takes us to His wheel, and makes what is ugly, beautiful again.

And because we are His, we are a vessel fit for the Master’s use.

It doesn’t matter what the world says…

Only the voice of our Maker should matter to us.

And He whispers, “You are Mine.”

Isaiah 43:1 - "But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: 'Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.'"

Isaiah 64:8 - "But now, O Lord, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand."
