Psalm 117 says “Praise the Lord, all nations! Extol him, all peoples! For great is his steadfast love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord!”

What an amazing Savior we have!

So often we are carried away by the business of life, consumed with the attractions of this world, and nullified by the effects of sin in our own lives.

Yet, we must make the conscious choice to turn our attention and adoration to Christ.

Isaiah 26:3-4 says “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.”

God must be our rock every single day. Without Christ we cannot have victory.

1 Corinthians 15:56-58 says “56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.”

By centering our mind on the victory we have as believers, we should not only feel comforted by the freedom of that victory, but we should also rejoice and give praise to our Savior!

No gift we receive will ever compare to the loving sacrifice of Jesus on the cross of calvary!

Let us turn our praise to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords today!

Isaiah 25:1 says “O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name, for you have done wonderful things, plans formed of old, faithful and sure.”
